Your first task is to define the following words so that you can understand what you are reading about. You should also provide some explanation of the words such as where it was used, when it was used, how it is used, where it has come from:
confederation
constitution
democracy
Your second task is to find out who is telling the truth. Did the Native Americans have a democratic confederacy and a constitution BEFORE the United States of America had theirs?
Your third task is to decide whether the Native Americans influenced the development of the USA Confederacy and Constitution and, therefore, were the real founding fathers of modern democratic America.
Your last task is to prepare a poster clearly answering the above three tasks and showing any links between the Native Americans' Confederacy and Constitution and the USA Confederacy and Constitution. This will be marked out of 30 marks. You must then present your findings to the class and this will be marked out of 20 marks.
