FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO COMPLETE YOUR TASK

Step 1

Your teacher will have divided you into groups of three students. Decide between you who is going to do which part of the task.

Step 2

Read through the whole of the webquest so that you know what you have to do, what is available to help you and how you will be assessed on the task.

Step 3

Use the internet resources to find the information you need on the dates in your section of the time line. Check them against a second time line or even a third to make sure that you have not missed anything out. The internet resources have been broken up into different parts to help with your choices.

Step 4

Draft out the presentation style of your time line remembering to follow the directions provided in the task. There is some general information here about timelines and what they should contain. Click here for illustrated manuscript examples, click here for the Bayeux Tapestry and click here for the Domesday Book. You can also click here for some examples of illuminated letters which may help you prepare your task.

Step 5

Complete your Part for homework.

Step 6

Together with the other members of your group present your tasks to your teacher who will mark them and return them.
