CITIZENSHIP IN ACTION - A WEBQUEST FOR STAGE 5 STUDENTS

ASSESSMENT

Students will be assessed on their ability to work effectively in groups. (30% of overall mark)

You will be observed during your group work and will be assessed on the following points

- that you clearly understand the purpose of the task
- that you can work together to plan your research task
- that you can work together to carry out your research task
- that you can find information both as a group and as individuals
- that you can find, understand and assess the usefulness of various sources for your task

The group will be assessed on the quality and nature of their submission to the Land and Environment Court or by the Land and Environment Court. (30% of the overall mark)

You will be assessed on the following points

- that you can clearly explain the historical issue and understand its impact on the civic life of the community
- that you can clearly explain the context of past individuals, groups, events and issues
- that you can select and use appropriate written and graphic forms to communicate

The group will be assessed on the presentation of their submission to the Land and Environment Court. (40% of the overall mark)

- that you can select and use appropriate oral and graphic forms to communicate
